The Ders Invitational was created to celebrate the boys, the game of golf, the relationships that are forged through the game, and the blue collared boys from Coon Rapids. It is the epitome of competition and the pinnacle of camaraderie.

The Origin Story of the "Buck Cup"

In Breckenridge Colorado, February of 2023, on a ski trip to celebrate Easy's birthday, we found ourself filled with drinks and a good time. When we noticed the buck cup sitting on the mantle of the fireplace. After our fair share of beer/whiskey from the cup it became apparent this needed to become apart of our lives and the tournament.

An overall solid performance from all members of JD Green, through storms, resulted in them winning with a 6 stroke victory in 2023.
